This side-view image shows our privacy covers in action. The blur effect increases the further to the side you angle. From above, the entire plate is obscured, ensuring that cameras cannot capture and process your information automatically. The side view is great for when your car is parallel parked or parked in a driveway/lot.

Can you read that plate? I didn't think so. At camera height, from the sides, and from distance, the plate is blurred and the license number is ineligible. Great for car meets and very effective against stalkers, traffickers, & anybody else that would use your plate to track your vehicle. Many of our customers enjoy using our covers when their car is parked in the driveway for extra privacy.

How does this work?

Our privacy cover eliminates the ability to fully capture your tags from angles where cameras such as cameras would be. The design's purpose is to act like a privacy screen for your plate. It is very effective against stalkers, traffickers, PI's etc. -- anybody trying to track your vehicle using your license plate. Many people use our covers for when they are parked, at events, car shows and more!

Is it hard to install?

Not at all. No special tools required. This plate cover fits directly over your current license plate. Just use the screws you currently already use on your vehicle. Installation should take no longer than 3 minutes. And if you have a frame, that will fit over our cover as well.

Will I get pulled over for this?

Our design is intended for use off public roads. Using this plate cover on public roads is considered driving with an obstructed license plate; in the same category as tinted windows etc. Our customers purchase from us for a number of different reasons. You can decide if the benefits outweigh the risk of potentially getting pulled over and/or receiving a ticket etc.

Is this cover legal to use?

We are not able to give legal advice of course. In some states, if the plate is hard to read or 'obstructed' in any way, it is considered an obstructed license plate. Same as having snow, dirt or a leaf stuck on the plate etc. You can receive a ticket at the discretion of the officer depending on your states laws. Usually the tickets are under $100. It is your job to check your local and state laws before placing an order.
